HEALICOIL◊ PK Suture Anchor

HEALICOIL◊ PK Suture Anchor is a Smith+Nephew suture anchor designed to enhance surgical procedures for tendon repairs such as rotator cuff reconstructions and gluteus medius and minimus repairs. Its unique open architecture allows for a reduced amount of implanted material and promotes new bone growth in the anchorage area.

Technical features

Open architecture: The anchor has an open design with no material between the threads, which allows blood and bone marrow from the surrounding bone to enter the implant, thus promoting new bone growth and improving the integration of the anchor with the bone.

High torsional strength: The anchor provides predictable insertion with even torque distribution along the entire length, which reduces stress during insertion and improves thread grip in the bone, leading to better pull-out strength.

Material REGENESORB: The anchor is made of REGENESORB material, which is gradually reabsorbed by the body and promotes natural bone regeneration at the implant site.

Different sizes and configurations: Available in a variety of sizes and with preloaded ULTRABRAID™ #2 or ULTRATAPE™ sutures, allowing flexibility to meet specific surgical needs.
