Forearm osteotomy II (UOL II)
The Forearm Locking Plate II Osteotomy offers an advanced plate system designed to meet the anatomical and biomechanical needs of distal forearm shortening osteotomies. This system, equipped with locking and compression screws, ensures optimal stabilisation and precision during surgery.
This all-in-one solution has a unique planar parallel cross-section that allows a rotationally stable shortening process with the possibility of compression. By simplifying set-up, it standardises multiple surgical steps, improves consistency and quality of the procedure, and ensures reliable results.
Ulna Osteotomy II (UOL II)
- Design of the anatomical panel
- Three holes distal to the osteotomy
- 30% fewer components for easier handling
- Central compression across the axis of the plate facilitates fusion of the osteotomy surfaces
- Fixing the osteotomy with a screw perpendicular to the cutting surface
- Intersection aligned proximally for better compression of the distal and proximal part of the osteotomy
- Correction of the position of the forearm according to the surgical technique - unaffected other side up to a maximum of 8 mm in one step.
Panel technology. ONE technology for all implants. All ITS. plates are made of Grade 2 titanium, while the screws are made of a harder titanium alloy. This allows the plates to have only threadless holes, all of which (with the exception of the elongated holes) accept both non-locking and locking screws.
