WEREWOLF◊ COBLATION◊
Smith+Nephew's WEREWOLF◊ COBLATION◊ System is an advanced surgical system designed for precise tissue removal and coagulation during arthroscopic procedures. It combines COBLATION technology with FLOW~IQ◊technology, which enables fast and efficient tissue removal with minimal thermal damage to the surrounding tissue.
Technical features
COBLATION technology: Uses lower temperatures than other ablative methods (usually not exceeding 70°C), which reduces thermal damage to the surrounding tissue.
FLOW~IQ technology: Automatically regulates saline outflow in combination with COBLATION energy to optimise instrument performance in all tissue types.
Accuracy: The controlled plasma field allows precise removal of soft tissue with minimal damage to non-target cartilaginous tissue (100-200 µm).
Speed: The FLOW 90◊ instrument has a faster ablation rate compared to other 90-degree arthroscopic instruments.
Versatility: The system offers a choice of three different COBLATION modes (low, medium, high), which allows you to tailor the operation to the specific needs of the procedure.
