Proximal medial tibial locking plate (PROMET)
The Proximal Medial Tibial Locking Plate is an advanced osteosynthesis system designed to treat a variety of proximal tibial fractures, including complex C1 to C3 fractures in combination with the proximal lateral tibial plateau.
A special feature of this system is the optional choice of hole configuration, which allows the selection of locking or non-locking screws for each hole (except compression and elongated). With a choice of +/- 15° angle, the system offers particular versatility, especially for complex fractures.
Proximal medial tibial locking plate (PROMET)
- Multi-directional locking
- Design of the anatomical panel
- 5 holes for proximal plate for periarticular fixation
- Elongated hole for optimal positioning and alignment of the shin length
- Tapered distal end of the percutaneous insertion plate
- Pre-angled hole for the proximal stem for additional support of the periarticular area
- Installing the locking bolt parallel to the joint to allow a rigid support platform
- Change in panel strength from 3.5 mm to 2.0 mm in the proximal part to minimise soft tissue irritation
- Plate lengths: 4, 7 holes
Panel technology. ONE technology for all implants. All ITS. plates are made of Grade 2 titanium, while the screws are made of a harder titanium alloy. This allows the plates to have only threadless holes, all of which (with the exception of the elongated holes) accept both non-locking and locking screws.
